Guess who is already 1 month old??? Yes its Ben:) Hard to believe its been a month already! He is growing like crazy and almost 12 lbs, starting to wear some size 2 diapers and just tonight in a 6 month sleeper.. slowly transitioning to some 6 month clothes! He is eating well, prefers a bottle over nursing and is a lot less fussy by bottle feeding, so we will see if that changes or if we switch to bottle feeding and transitioning to formula in the near weeks/months. He still loves to sleep and sleeps quite a bit making some 4 hour stretches at night however still not a fan of the crib or laying flat on his back to much.. He sleeps some in the bassinet and cradle otherwise he loves his cradle swing, buckled (not on) as his nighttime bed as its more elevated and like a nestled bed.. We are going to keep trying the crib and hopefully he will be there soon! He also loves his carseat and would sleep in there too. I am thankful the carseat and a car ride is a guaranteed nap for him and he does great with his mommy shopping and running errands. Ben also is starting to smile at us which is the greatest thing ever. I am loving maternity leave and thankful i still have another 2 months at home. Looking forward to upcoming visits from my parents and having a bunch of family in town for his baptism in November.
This weekend we had the chance to have my friend Erin and her boyfriend Curt visit and Erin who is a photographer took some great pictures of Ben and our family so I thought I would share.
Hope to keep this blog more updated now that the first and most crazy month is over:)
