Ben's first couple of weeks:)

So its been almost 2 weeks since little Benjamin was born and things have been going well. We are adjusting to a newborn and already can't imagine our life without him:)
He is a good baby, waking up overnight normally only twice, every 3 hours to nurse and then goes back to sleep. He is a good sleeper and eater. We recently found a pacifier he likes which has helped him self soothe too. His favorite activities are cuddling with mommy, daddy and any visitors, sleeping, enjoying his cradle swing and eating:) He also tends to love his carseat and has long naps in there while driving and bumming around town with this parents. I am very thankful he likes the car as I want to be able to travel around a little and be out and about. Since its almost the 2nd week, I am finally starting be on the mend from my csection and looking forward to driving again!! Having to rely on Jon all the time for driving and any lifting over 10 lbs is not fun. Jon also extended his time off another week so we are looking forward to a short 2 day trip to Wis Rapids to visit there and have Ben meet some relatives. Jon's parents were just here this past weekend and were a huge help to us. I am so thankful to them, my parents and sister and also good friends and relatives who have helped us out and cooked for us.

Well since its 1:30 pm, maybe i should now shower for the day and see if we can convince Jon is a beautiful day to try a walk with the stroller..
