Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!

Jon and I went out on Saturday night for a steak dinner in Downtown Milwaukee for an early valentines dinner. We splurged and had a wonderful meal and night out. I am not a huge fan of valentine's day but i figure it gives you an excuse to go out for dinner, makes your husband buy your flowers and exchange cards... that makes it nice. 3 years ago on Valentines Day we got engaged! Times flies. I also recieved the pretty pink roses seen above from my great hubby! I always love pink roses and they are my favorite. This holiday also reminds me of Jon and I's wedding dance song, "Be Mine" by David Gray... might have to play that on the ipod later.

Today on actual valentine's day we are just staying home.. I just made some bran muffins and I am watching the olympics while Jon naps all afternoon since he has to work tonight... I am going to make something good for dinner. I am craving some chocolate and it doesn't feel right to be the holiday of candy and not enjoy some chocolate or dessert tonight but i am too lazy to go get some. Tommorow Monday night I have a girls night out at a friend's house for Fondue party so I will just wait and get my chocolate fix then.

2 more weeks til I start my full time job.... trying to enjoy my free time although I work Wed-Sun this week at my current job and finish up there on Sunday and then I have a week off which includes a trip to MN with Jon to go visit friends and Family. The timing worked out great as a last little trip before I start my job. I haven't worked full time for the last year and half between grad school, internship and job searching and working part time so It will be an adjustment. I really do best with a schedule and being busy so after the first couple of weeks of training which can be exhausting, I think I will throughly enjoy my busier schedule...

Happy Valentines Day! Have a great day with those you love...

p.s. aren't you all impressed, 2 posts in 2 days with pictures???
