Comparison of Worries about Mexico Trip..

Amy
-what to pack? How many swimsuits? How many tank tops? Do I need Jeans? Do I need a sweatshirt? How many skirts? What should I wear on the plane? Are these shoes are going to weigh the suitcase down, do i really need 4 pairs? How often will I wear something other than a swimsuit and shorts? Should I pack a duffel bag in my suitcase in case I buy things and want to check 2 bags for the return trip? What medications do I need to bring for any possible ailment? Should I bring granola bars to live on in case the food is bad or for traveling as I am constantly hungry? Should I really bring an outfit to work out in the fitness center, am I really going to do that? What carry on bag can I use? Am I going to get sick on the bus taking us to the resort from the airport?

Jon
-How are they going to let us on the plane with out paper tickets? (doesn't get how etickets work) Do you really think we aren't going to be abducted or in a mexican rebellion? What if the plane crashes? What if the food is bad?
...................Why are you packing on Sunday night to leave on Saturday?

Yep. We all have issues. Any suggestions for my rambling questions about what to bring to my 5 night stay at the all inclusive resort in Riveria Maya, let me know.

Cancun, correct? My in-laws have a time share there (all inclusive). No need for granola bars. You will be well take care of. If you are staying at a resort on the beach, most of the time they share restaurants with the other resorts. Something to verify when you check-in. Bring like 2 nice out fits. If I were going, I would live in my swimming suit/sun dresses the entire time and change for evenings. Pack 2 swimming suits; tanning suit and walking around suit. No, you will not be working out. No matter how ambitious us women would like to think we 'would' be on vacation we never exercise. Shoes-keep it simple. Sandals and walking around shoes... possibly a dressy pair. osts of tank tops, a few long sleeves few evenings, and a few skirts/ dresses.

And for Jon, I feel your pain. Flying is scary but you'll make it. Amy it a pro flyer! ...close your eyes on take off.

Have fun guys- hope that was useful suggestions. =)

yay.. I am so excited for you guys! We will have to try to go down toghther next time!. I would make sure you pack nice clothes, kalkis and pants for jon and buttton down shirts or polos and skirts or dresses for you. all of the resorts have a handfull of restrauants each a little different but they usually have a couple that are like fine dinning where you have to actually change out of your swimsuit to eat! most places you have to wear shoes and a cover up and sometimes guys have to wear a nice shirt.. just a heads up:)
forget the workout clothes amy! you are on VACATION! you are crazy.. enjoy your selfs and the swim up bar if they have one:).. take lots of pictures!

And definalty take advantage of room service.. and tell jon not to worry they usually have one buffett restraunt at each resort! and many different kinds of cuisine!.. Aaron was happy.. enough said:)

Cancun - I love it! It's warm and beautiful...and the food is excellent so only pack those bars if you want to save some money on breakfast! Otherwise, venture out in the city and enjoy the seafood and Mexican food!

Don't forget the sunscreen! And once you are there, don't forget to re-apply! That sun will get you even if you think it won't!

Enjoy the trip - Oh, I almost forgot. You should pack an extra carry on (ME)!
