36 weeks pregnant with baby girl
We are in the mood of counting down and preparing for baby at our house. A few weekends ago, we enjoyed a getaway trip to the Kalahari in the Dells with Jon's brother Dan and his wife Katie and then my cousin Sara and her husband and kids. We had a great time and it was great to get away.
Now this weekend I had a 4 day weekend. Jon's mom was here for a few days which was nice and I got a lot of baby preparation completed.. .crib all arranged and ready, baby clothes washed, bottles washed, nuks boiled and ready to use, bassinett upstairs, formula purchased a as backup if nursing doesn't work, have my bag packed.. cameras charged and with memory cards.. Feeling a little more ready for this little girl to come.. Jon still needs to put carseat bases on the car ...Jon and I also got away for a dinner out this weekend which was a nice treat.
I keep having strange dreams about baby girl's arrival including a surprise birth at home, in the car and that its a boy..my dreams are always strange lately.
I am hanging in there.. feeling more tired but not super uncomfortable yet.. my dr thinks this baby might be smaller then Ben (he was 9lbs 9oz).. I am okay with a little smaller and since my c-section is at 39 weeks (3 weeks from Wed) that might help too... might actually have baby girl get to wear some newborn clothes.
Hoping the next 3 weeks and 16 days of work go quickly... can't wait to meet this baby girl and enjoy my 12 weeks at home with kids this spring:)
