Ben had a great first birthday with over 30 guests of family and friends. He got lots of toys and presents and had a fun time with all the kids and everyone that came. He wasn't so sure about cake or frosting and gagged on the frosting! poor kid. We got that on video:) It was so fun to have friends and family who love Ben come celebrate his birthday! It meant a lot to us!
At one year...
-Ben walks/runs all over
-squats and picks up toys ect
-Eats table food/finger food including fruit, veggies and now trying meat and lots of new starches
- loves watermelon, waffles and pizza
-is on whole milk.. still loves his bottle but we are working on the sippy cup
-babbles
- is learning new things every day
-can walk well in shoes
-recognizes faces he knows but certainly is not shy with strangers.
- love his blankie and nuk.... working on limiting the nuk to naps and bedtime
- is showing some seperation anxiety lately
-loves being outside
-loves other kids and is clearly influenced by peer pressure and eats the best when other kids are around!
