Getaway Trip and Walking Boy

Can't believe what I just did!  Jon and I just booked a flight and hotel online for a 5 year anniversary getaway trip in October. We are flying to Washington D.C as flights were $130 round trip (even with exit row seat upgrades) and so the whole trip was very reasonable!  I have been there before and loved it and Jon has never been so I am excited to sightsee with him and explore the city.  We are going from a Fri morning til Monday morning (be home by 8 am and enjoy the rest of our day off at home with him) so 3 nights away from our little guy but it will be nice to sleep interrupted, eat out interrupted and spend time together.  Now I am starting to get anxious about leaving Ben but he will be in good hands with a combo of Auntie kara, Auntie Em and Grandma and Grandpa J.

So excited!! I love to travel and fly and feel like I haven't been anywhere exciting in FOREVER... something fun to look forward to...

And on a note about Ben.... he is WALKING!!! Takes 5-6 steps and then bump to the butt.. but he keeps getting better. I need to work on getting more video.  I love that kid!!
