Vacation was great.. We had some cool/rainy/cloudy weather for the majority of the week (5 out of 7 days) but made the most of it. There were 27 extended family members and 3 other family friends all at the resort for the week. We enjoyed fishing (our group including myself caught over 100 panfish- main perch) for the week. I enjoy fishing up north in WI because everytime I cast the line I caught something. Not to fool you though, i let jon bait the hook with the a minnow and take the fish off! We had fun playing games and reading and hanging out together. I actually read 5 books on vacation which some poeple might consider crazy, but it read fast and thats just what i do on vacation. Jon and I also enjoyed a date night by ourselves going out for dinner and shopping at the stores in Minoqua. We also enjoyed a couples bridal shower for Jon's brother Dan and his fiance Katie. It was a fun way to celebrate with them while at White Birch.
On our two warms days we enjoyed the sun, got a little tan and enjoyed the lake even thought it was a little cold water. Some of group enjoyed boating, skiing and tubing.
Overall the resort was beautiful as always and being on a lake surrounded by pines besides the resort just makes you feel like you are in the middle of no where. Its great and so relaxing!
Now that the great week is over, we are really on the final countdown til this baby boy arrives and maternity leave begins! Less than 10 weeks left, and this baby is growing well, I am feeling well and loving all the moves of this little guy! Can't wait to meet him!
