Above is a picture of me at about 25 weeks:)Don't mind the ugly glasses due to my scratched cornea issues. Hopefully I can wear contacts in a week. Just went to the DR today.. All is going well. Baby Boy Friesema is measuring on schedule and I am healthy and doing well.Feeling frequent kicks and squirms especially in the evenings.. My only complaint is the swollen feet I get when its warm, so i have been wearing tennies to work and that helps a lot.
One week to go until the start of the 3rd trimester. Crazy that I am almost in the final stretch:) Maybe I should start freaking out about giving birth...nah i will wait to freak out til the final month:) We have a lot for the baby room (crib, dresser,changing table, swing, bouncy seat) but will wait to transition guest room to baby room until late July after my baby shower.
On another note, I am so excited for a 4 day weekend of fun and relaxing coming up! Friday night Brewer game and Monday night cookout, and Tues trip to Ikea/Land of Nod outlet with Emmy. Should be a fun time away from work! Give me some final energy to make it to vacation time starting mid june:) Hoping for some sunshine this weekend too.
