Ahhhhh what a great week of vacation. Our week was very enjoyable at white birch Village in Boulder Junction, WI. (www.whitebirchvillage.com). We went with Jon's parents and a couple of his brothers and girlfriend and extended Friesema Family and family friends from North Dakota. We had a few full days of sun and a some rain thoughout the week but overall it was decent. The sunny days were perfect with no clouds and temps about 80 degrees. When it rained we tried to make the best of it by playing games or even fishing in the rain.
I got a nice tan and enjoyed reading about 3 books this week while laying in the sun:) (i am a fast reader).. Jon and I also enjoyed fishing together and even catching 28 perch in about 2 hours of fishing one day!! I can handle fishing like that, especially since i don't touch the minnow or the fish:)
Jon and I also had a date night out for pizza by ourselves and enjoying getting some salt water taffy and treats in Minoqua.
It was a great relaxing week full of family time, relaxation, being outdoors and having no obligations. I feel refreshed. I love vacation like this!! Now I just have one week of work and then one final long weekend out of town at my Uncle Dan's cabin for the 4th with the Smits family. Sooooo looking forward to next weekend already and getting to spend a few days with my cousins, aunts, uncles and of course my "niece" Kennedy now 2 months:)
