Great Day

So today, Wed I had the day off from my internship and I was suppose to religiously work on my 2 research papers and readings for school all day. Well it didn't happen. Instead I went on a long walk, went to the farmers market stand, target and then had intentions of homework this afternoon.. but that didn't happen either. Jon's work schedule changed so he ended up waking up at 1 pm instead of 4 or 5 and Jon, Emmy and I went out for a late lunch at Juniper 61. It was delicous! They have the best homemade potato chips with blue cheese dip.. I dont' really care for chips normally but they are the best. Then Jon distracted me from doing homework when we got home and we ended up just hanging out... So i did only about 30 min of homework today..

I did make it to class tonight and then afterwards went shopping at bayshore mall, my favorite. I was excited because with a coupon, i got a pair of khakis, 2 dressy tanks and another shirt for $32 total. Rock on. I love good deals. Just one of those unexpected great days. love it.

Jon leaves for Alaska for a long weekend with his brothers and dad tommorow for his brother's bachelor weekend. (His brother used to live in Alaska for a few years) I am really excited for him. They are going salmon fishing and out in the wilderness. What a great memorable experience and even better that he didn't have to pay for much of anything for the weekend...

I will miss Jon, but I am looking forward to a weekend of catching up on homework that i missed today and just having some good girl time.
