SO the Keith Urban concert was AMAZING!!!! Seriously on of the BEST concerts i have ever been too. I am a newer Keith Urban fan who really got hooked after his "Sweet Thang" song came out and i bought his most recent "Defying Gravity" album on itunes. He puts on such a great show and was so personal, shaking hands. He did all of his greatest hit songs, almost all of his new songs I wanted to hear and all of the listeners left feeling satisfied that he sang the songs you wanted to hear. Most of his songs are all popular Country songs so it was suprising to know that you can sing along and dance away all night. I love that he jumped down on the floor, went through to the crowd to a hidden stage about halfway back and to the left for a few songs, so us farther in the back got a better view.. what a great idea. I also like his presentation. He had a super HIGH DEFINITION split screen (2nd picture) in the center of the stage and it was such a clear picture, you could see everything. I love that he didn't have stupid media stuff or music videos but it was almost like a more intimate concert setting even though it was with tens of thousands of people filling up the Marcus Amphitheatre at summerfest. I went with a group of 4 friends and we just had such a blast singing and dancing. It was sad when the concert ended. Seriously like Noelle said, its like one of those shows that makes you understand why people become groupies and follow artists on tour. I would definetly see him again and would drive several hours to another concert. We had bleacher seats but were weren't disappointed at all, as we could see just fine. It was very well spent money. Such a great time. Nothing beats a good concert with one of your favorite artists.
My next concert on the schedule is Sugarland in Milwaukee in September. Although i love the sugarland music as much as Keith Urban, they have a high expectation to live up to beat this Keith urban concert.. we will see how it goes.
Now off to the pool... :) Lovin life.
