Back Home to the Artic Air..

We are back home in Milwaukee:) We had a great, reiaxing vacation in Mexico. Jon survived the flights and we were safe during the whole trip (no attempts and abduction of Jon :). My only complaint is that we had some crappy weather and overcast for the last 2 days but it is still better than WI in winter. We enjoyed sitting by the pool, having a few drinks, eating a ton, and exploring the resort. There were 5 resorts in a row all by the same company so it was nice that we could walk all the beaches of all of them. They also had evening entertainment that was pretty good including an ethnic dance, karoke, and broadway songs. We did one excursion to see the Mayan Ruins and one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, according to National Geographic. We also tried kayaks, water bikes, water aerobics (i tried once), bingo by the pool and other activities. I enjoyed reading 2 books on the beach too. The time went way too fast. It was soo nice to go on a vacation with Jon. It was really our first vacation with just us besides a few weekend getways. I am now looking forward to my next two vacations.. first to AZ in June for Gina's wedding and then to Seattle in August for Jon's brother's wedding. I am getting spoiled this year with traveling!!!

We are now back home and back to reality. We didn't appreciate the subzero temperatures to welcome us back.... I am back at my internship and nannying this week. At least I have one more week before classes start again. I also have a weekend trip to MN this next weekend to see some friends and family before I am back to a crazy life with classes and homework again.

I would recommend a tropical vacation to anyone in January...it was a nice time to go.
