There are some good things about cold winter weekends.. . like having an excuse to stay home all weekend, and avoid being out or social. That is what i did this weekend.. I went to a movie Friday night with emmy and liz but that is all i did outside of my home besides church. I stayed home wrote christmas cards, wrapped a few presents, watched a few hallmark christmas movies, The Holiday, Sunday night TV. I did make Jon a yummy dinner after church today too:)
It was very relaxing and makes me wish for more weekends with nothing to do. I haven't had this in a long time thanks to homework for grad school. It was soo nice to chill out. The only thing that would make it better is if Jon didn't have to work and was home with me cuddled up watching movies. Even though I hate the super cold weather, and scraping the snow off my car window, I enjoy that this season of year gives us a reason to slow down, stay inside, and relax and watch movies all weekend without feeling guilty for not being outside.
Next weekend I have a Christmas party and Kara visiting to help bake cookies so it will be a fun weekend too. I am realizing that I need to put more pictures on the blog as its not as appealing as all of my cool blogging friends.. so next weekend will documented with pictures for a change on here. !
