Keeping the focus with God....

Christian music is so powerful to me and for some people who thinks its all lame, I dare you to listen to some new artists and the newer modern worship music. I listen to as much secular (mainly country) music as Christian but lately Christian music has really ministered to me and taken over what i listen too. IThere are some very talented musicians who speak such true honesty and passion about life. One of my favorites lately is Natalie Grant and I really want her new relentless CD or MP3 files. Some of her songs just speak right to me and give my goosebumps. She is a truly a woman of God who not sings the songs but lives the live the life and fights for justice and women's issues.

Our lives are soo busy but we all listen to music throughout our day. So if you can't get in more than a few minutes of prayer with God why not let God speak to you and you speak to him through music? That is my thought. You will be suprised how a few minutes of a worship song in the car or on around the house can really help you put things in reality and keep you focused on God. I have been studying a lot with music. This song is just so encouraging to just give things up to God and give it over to him. I first heard this song when I heard about my Uncle Dale and his health problems and stroke. Its so encouraging to know that it is best, when you just put your circumstances in God's hand.
