Beating the Daylight Savings Blues....

I hate it when its Daylight Savings time and the clocks are turned back, and the dark evenings begin around 5 pm... when most of us finally get to have some time outside of work and responsiblities, it just doesn't seem right.. I want summer sunlight all year!
.. I also know I tend to eat more around this time of year and sometimes get a little depressed like most people in the Midwest..I also eat more carbs and sweets which are bad for me and some days I could just crawl into bed at 7 pm, the evenings seem so much longer!

My goal is to beat the Daylight Savings Blues this year and not let winter get the best of me.... I am going to keep working out 4 times a week to release some endorphins and feel good about myself, chose to eat healthy foods and keep on working to lose more weight and get in shape.. I think January is the worse month of the year, so having a trip to Mexico then will definitely lift my spirits.... and also making sure to make time to focus on God through prayer and devotions. I recommend that others do the same by taking care of yourself and your health and making your faith a priority. We can beat the winter blues.. hopefully this winter won't be as bad as last year too..

I think we actually just ended daylight savings time and are now back into standard time.

Wanna help me rake leaves tomorrow? Doesn't that sound like fun?

Hey! Look on the bright side - this winter you won't have a yard or even a side walk to take care of! What a mess those people put you through last winter!
