We are done moving!! yeah! We moved out of our old place and its all sparkling clean. We just have a few things I need to pick up Friday to bring to Rapids.. Our new place is small but nice and cozy. I am growing fond of it. My favorite things about the new place.. carpet, cable and dvr, a big bathroom with a countertop and drawers.. I also appreciate that it will be less time to clean. Also location is nice, as its only 20 minutes to Racine for Jon for work and to visit family and friends there.. I can handle a 20 minute commute to visit the in-laws or friends.. its so much better than 40+... I am hoping to be down in Racine more often.
Going from a house with all our junk a one bedroom condo made us downsize and store things but its good.. At least we hopefully won't accumulate junk as much here because we have no where for it to go! No basement to store it in!
I still have to unpack and organize my clothes today.. I had a whole closet to myself at the house now i have to share with Jon so I might need to get rid of more things.. My goal today is to finish unpacking, finish my take home test for school and watch Private Practice and the Barbara Walter special with Obama tonight.. maybe work out in between it all as i miss working out. I haven't worked out in 2 weeks due to my crazy life and i can feel it. We will see if I get everything done.
Tommorow is turkey day in Racine with my hubby... then Fri-Sat a trip to Rapids to see my family while Jon stays back and works the weekend.. I can't belive its almost Dec.. I am excited to get some cmas shopping done this weekend..
