Ben is now 5 months and I can't believe it! Time flies. He is getting to have such a personality and loves smiling and giggling. He also tends to be a little flirt:) His favorite activity is eating his toes.. and therefore prefers to be in his onesie so he can find his toes. He is rolling all over and rolls over to get a toy he wants. He also takes his nuk in and out his mouth and plays with it. He is babbling and likes to hear himself scream...
He eats fewer bottles during the day and eats 7 ounces a time. He prefers to eat the most in the evening. We have tried some rice cereal, oatmeal cereal and also sweet potatoes and applesauce. He can eat about 5 spoonfuls but acts disgusted and spits it out.. doesn't quite get the swallowing thing and will close his lips and turn his head after about 5 bites. We keep trying though, maybe closer to the 6 month mark.
He has had a cold off and on this past month and regressed in sleeping.. waking twice to eat and wanting his nuk more often. We are hopeful the sleeping through the night starts soon. Hopefully will improve once he eats solids.
Ben loves his activity center, rattles, sitting in his bumbo and playing with toys. He is a joy! He is still loving daycare and excited that 2 days a week starting this month he gets to stay home for his afternoons with Jon's cousin Katie! He is so loved. He loved this past week getting to stay home with both set of grandparents coming to town as jon had day training, can we say spoiled?
Well i better go eat dinner quick while he is napping in the boppy:)
