about 38 weeks and ready to go..

The above picture is me at about 37 and 1/2 weeks. Can't say I like the picture as i can see the water weight in my face and feel like I look ugh, but glad the end is in sight. The doctor is guessing about a 8-9 lb baby full term. I am getting uncomfortable, having cramping, tightening and kind of ready for this little guy to come out! And forget sleeping.. always waking up to go to the bathroom and arranging pillows. I guess its Gods way of getting you ready to be up a lot with a newborn.

I am trying to be busy by working and counting down the days.. i have a tenative induction date scheduled 5 days after my due date if he doesn't show up before then. So at least I have a final date in sight.. less than 3 weeks now. I am just hoping that he might come next week at 39 weeks, that would be ideal, but probably not:) I am just praying for a healthy baby and delivery and praying this guy doesn't decide to come out on Sept 3 when Jon is the best man in his brother's wedding:) But God is in control so i am not stressing about it.

So for now, I am going to take time to relax, watch TV and triple check I have everything i need for this little peanut to arrive! I can tear up just thinking about Jon and I getting to meet him for the first time. I cannot wait! Next post probably won't occur til baby arrives... because really who needs to see another picture of me any bigger than what i look like above!
