May has been a fun month so far for Jon and I. This little guy is growing well inside of me and we have had some fun family events. This baby is already starting to make my feet swell, and I think its a little early for that at 23 weeks! I guess I might have to wear tennies or flip flops for the next 17 weeks.....But otherwise this month has been fun. First we had a trip to MN for Kennedy's Birthday (my cousin's little girl) and hung out with family and friends. We had a blast! The second weekend in May, we had all the Friesema fam in town for a wedding.
This weekend its pretty low key around here, dreary weather outside.. I tried to hit up a few garage sales in the rain and got a cute gymboree outfit but that was it. I am contemplating starting a new book or taking a nap when Jon goes off to work. I lead an exciting life. Maybe i will go out for a movie with a friend or my sister:) I ended up calling in sick to work Friday due to drama of ER/ eye dr visits to find out I had a scratch on the cornea of my eye.. really? So freakin painful. Like having a needle in your eye that you can't get out! Its starting to feel better now but I will be the queen of glasses for the next month, so real cute NOT really. I am just glad it was just my eye and not anything pregnancy related that led me to the ER..
I am hoping it starts to warm up around here and get sunny. It always seems to be crappy weather on the weekend... Maybe I should be productive and clean/organize around here or go get groceries.. but nah feeling lazy:)
