17 weeks

Well I am 17 and half weeks today and feeling great. I decided I could post a picture of myself however i am not to thrilled with the angle of the picture as Jon didn't want to stand up from the couch to take the picture! Anyways. I am growing a cute baby bump, feeling lots baby flutters and loving it! I am feeling great with appetite and trying to eat more healthy foods. I love being pregnant in this second trimester, so much better than the 1st! Still haven't gained a lb yet but i am sure that will catch up to me later in that last trimester for sure. I am eating enought though. My latest cravings have been for pears,chocolate, and oreo shakes, notice they are all sweet.. I am fully in maternity pants at least and gosh they are comfy..although maternity clothes in general are pricey!

In a little over a week we have our halfway ultrasound and hopefully will find out the baby's sex and see a healthy little peanut growing. Jon and I are very excited for the ultrasound and praying all looks well.. I think its a girl, Jon thinks its a boy. and for now Jon affectionally calls our baby lots of interesting nicknames. We will share the sex of the baby but keep the name a secret for the day of birth.
