MN Trip...

Last weekend I had trip planned to MN for my cousin Sara's baby shower.. little did I know since Sara was 34 weeks along, that the baby would arrive before the Shower that saturday. On Tues April 13, my new "niece" Kennedy Marie was born at 4lbs 4oz. She was in the hospital for 8 days and is HOME already, doing great, breathing well and eating well and growing at home. She is a little peanut and I cannot wait to return to MN in a few weeks and finally get to meet her since when I visited MN last weekend she was in the NICU.. We still had the baby shower and had a great weekend of helping Sara get ready for Kennedy at home as they weren't quite ready since she came 6 weeks early..she is a cute little miracle and I love her already even though I have yet to meet her in person or give her a kiss. I love seeing Sara and Kevin so happy!

Over the weekend I also got to hang out with some of my favorite friends, Noelle, Sara, Emmy and Erin. What a great weekend full of lots of fun and joy and being together with friends I love.

Looking forward to another trip to MN soon.. I seriously wish I had a private jet to go to MN at a moment's notice as 2 of my close friends live there. Its an easy drive and plane ticketsa aren't that bad for a cheap trip too. I am very thankful we live in the era of cell phones with free long distance.....
