Immunizations, Coffee Cups, and Cleaning

Immunizations
i got my H1N1 immunization and my seasonal flu shot today.. i feel well protected against those flu bugs. I got to get an H1N1 so early because of my job at the hospital, apparently they find it important that even the social workers get the vaccine first because the reality is that the hospital would be lost in its operation without us:) or so i think:) I don't mind shots and i was kind of excited to get both shots done at once.. I am hoping to not get sick much this winter.

Coffee Cups
I have a theory that Starbucks to go cups have a defect. Why is it that only at Starbucks, when i get an americano or latte, no matter how full the cup is, somehow the coffee JUMPS out of the cup all over the rim and spills? It is truly a mystery that boggles my mind. Its like there is a spring in the bottom of the cup or something. I can have it my cupholder or walking with it into work and somehow the darn coffee/latte/mocha ends up splattering even when its half full!! Strangely, Alterra, Caribou or other cafe to go cups do not create this problem, so strange.

Cleaning
My sister is great.. I hired her to come and clean our condo today prior to move out as she loves cleaning. It was the best investment ever. (i hate cleaning with a passion). She came with her boyfriend and they scrubbed floors, tubs, ovens and everything with a smile.. It was so worth the money and making them both dinner.

Which reminds me of 2 of my favorite things at our new home...
1)DISHWASHER !!!!! amen to that, cooking is fun again, with no sink of dishes
2) CLEANING LADY I feel kind of indulgent about that one for a 2x month cleaning lady, but it was a part of our rental arrangement, so i am not complaining. I feel a little spoiled and i am sure this will develop into an indulgent bad habit that will never make me want to scrub floors ever again at any house in the future. I am very thankful for this blessing in my life, seriously so excited about it!
