What a GREAT week.....

Wow.. what a crazy, fun great week last week... The highlights include a job interview, finishing graduate school!!!!!!!!, state fair, celebrating completing grad school with kara visiting and then flying to seattle-tacoma, WA for the weekend for a wedding... doesn't get much better!

I have to say that I am so relieved and glad that grad school is over as of last week Wed and i have my masters in social work.. it was one of those goals i had in life that I wasn't sure was going to happen based on finances and life but God really blessed me and I am proud of my accomplishments with his help and providing for us. My husband still owes me some flowers i think and it would be nice to get at least one "congrats" card from at least one person in my life or something, anyone, one person please? really? maybe they are all in the mail.. i am hoping.. maybe i will have to walk in graduation in december just to make it official to get a card...

The week continued with fun with kara visiting wed-friday... Jon, Kara and I went out for pizza after my last class wed night.. then thursday kara and hung out at alterra, walked by the lake and then we went to state fair with jon in the afternoon.. we had such a great time.. we ended the night with mexican and a margarita to celebrate out with emmy too...

Friday we left for Seattle- Tacoma for Jon's brother's wedding.. we had an amazing short trip. the wedding was beautiful and it was so much fun to travel with extended friesema family.. we all stayed together most of the time in a rented beautiful guest house... we also had one night to ourselves on sun where we stayed at nice hotel downtown seattle and got to go out dinner, and then see a sunset from the space needle.. it was great. We got home Monday.

As much fun as the past week has been, i have one more summer adventure.. this next weekend i am going on a trip alone to meet up with family and friends for a long weekend in the twin cities in MN.. jon is left home to work:) .. looking forward to spending time with people for a low key weekend of hanging out.....

The next venture of life for me includes job hunting... 2 more interviews coming up.. and looking forward to moving this fall . I am enjoying this last bit of summer (hopefully it will last for another month or more) Its been a good summer and life has been soo good lately. God is soo good to us and bless us greatly when we simply trust him :)
