So unemployment boredem leads to my desire to improve my cooking and baking skills and i thought i would post about it for something different...
Above are my projects so far this week... Cajun Orange Pork Chops for dinner (Healthy Cooking Magazine) and Low Calorie, Low Fat Zucchini bread. The pork chops were pretty tasty, a basic marinade you make with 5 or 6 ingredients and then part of the marinade you save and make into a thicker sauce on the stove and pour over the pork chops. Jon loved them and ate 2 pieces so that is a recipe to repeat, it was DELICOUS and pretty easy. The Zucchini bread is super healthy including zucchini, egg whites, unsweetened applesauce and part whole wheat flour.. very moist and yummy. I couldn't even tell that it was a healthier version of one of my favorite quick breads. YUMMY!
