Jon and I had a great weekend camping with friends. We camped at a state park near the Dells with 2 other couples and an almost 2 year old son of one of the couples. Overall we had great sunny but cool weather, just a light rain the first night while we were sleeping. To the left, is our Cabela's tent that we camped in. I took about 4 pictures total the whole weekend as my husband cringes everytime i got the camera out as he hates to be in pictures.. so that is why i don't have any exciting photos to post. I will take more exciting photos next time, it really is pathetic that all i have of Jon and I or anyone else is a pic of our tent!
Highlights of camping included:
- MINI GOLF .. i won twice in a group of 4.. my goal is to keep this winning streak up
- SMORES and PUDGE PIES around the campfire
- EATING OUT at Moosejaw in the Dells
- READING and PLAYING CARDS
- LAZYNESS
- SPENDING TIME WITH FRIENDS
Not-so-much Highlights:
- MOSQUITOS and bites to prove it all over me that ITCH!
- a VISIT to the local ER with Jon on Saturday for some back pain.
not an ideal place to go while on vacation, he is ok now and we could enjoy the rest
of the weekend.
- The weekend was too short.
Now for a week ahead with not much going but I am getting SUPER excited for my trip to Arizona for Gina's wedding , I leave a week from tommorow. I cannot wait for some real warm weather , going swimming, and hanging out with Gina and celebrating with bachelorette party, shower and then her wedding day. I will certainly take lots of pictures of my trip and post. :) Have a great week!
