Scenario to compare for comic relief.....
Dating...
When Jon and I were dating, our dates often consisted of going out to dinner, going to movies, minigolfing, sporting events or other things. We would often find fun things to do together or else cuddle up on the couch with a movie..
Married....
Now that we have been married almost a year, Jon and I still make it a priority to go on "dates" especially with jon working most evenings (5 nights a week) we try and at least once a week go out or else make something good at home and spend the evening together... sometimes we still go to movies or other fun things but not always...its important to make time together a priority....
I was kind of chuckling when I was thinking of what Jon and did tonight four our date night.. We did use a giftcard up and had a yummy dinner at Outback but then the remainder of our date night consisted of going to Sportsman's Warehouse for Jon to purchase his hunting tags and then to Target to buy toilet paper, socks, and toothpaste... where did the romance go??? :) I am sure it will only get more "eventful" as the years pass and hopefully kids someday.. I guess it doesn't matter because it was nice to actually see him for an evening... It just kind of make me laugh that it is the reality of married life... its the everyday things together.. just kind of funny how things change and aren't always "eventful" but more "ordinary".. at the end of the day, I still love being married and would take the "ordinary" anyday.... and any time I get with Jon is blessing as I know some of my friends see thier husbands even less.....
Just my pondering thoughts for the day....

my dating life goes like this: going to brewers games, or watching brewers games on tv. It's really tough dating Ryan Braun, he's always busy.
That is so true. Although at this point in our marriage we are pretty adventurous ...more so than even when we dated. Just figuring out life's schedule I think married couples tend to forget about dating each other, keeping the spark alive.
But I have definately had toliet paper dates to Target. We always get gummy bears to spice it up =)
oh this is so true! Just wait a few years and your date nights will consist of resturants with highchairs and kids menus and then trips to target for sippy cups and diapers:) thats only when they only sitters you have are also "out" When you do get a sitter its a treat just to eat somewhere where thursdays isnt kids eat free night... and without chaising sippy cups around the resturant floor.. I wouldnt trade it for anything
I'm assuming nextbigblog is Liz.
Considering its about the brewers and ryan braun.
My dating life is....non-existent! Unless 'dates' with my friends count and going to work all the time. Fun times!
